Total Solar Eclipse Kayak Tour

Come experience the **Total Solar Eclipse** and raise money to help rebuild the **Huntington Beach State Park Nature Center** that burned down last year. Come with Black River Outdoors as we paddle through the beautiful Santee River. We will have experts on hand to teach you all the fascinating facts about a solar eclipse. Everyone will have chance to get out on a sandbar to take a rest between paddling.

Although the Total Solar Eclipse is the star of the show, you may also be able to experience native wildlife including wading herons, egrets, alligators, snakes, etc. The Total Eclipse are known to cause interesting behavior in animals, so you never know what you might see!

The tour is guided and is suitable for all levels of experience. First time paddlers are welcome! Our guides will teach a quick Kayak 101 before we launch will get you paddling on the water in no time.

Trip Details

o Meet at Harris Landing at Noon
o Partial Eclipse starts at 1:18pm
o Full Eclipse starts at 2:46pm
o Full Eclipse ends at 2:48pm
o Partial Eclipse ends at 3:10pm
o Return to the landing around 3:30pm
